Sick day

Breakfast: oatmeal, 1/2 sliced banana, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1/2 scoop Raw Meal, sliced almonds, and a dash of cinnamon :)
Lunch was leftover veggie stew, snacks were a protein shake, bell pepper & pb, blackberries & almonds, and brussel sprouts.

Dinner was asparagus and two beef ribs.
This is how we cut the chicken without Daddy home.

Poor Maddie girl was sick and so today ended up being a clean the kitchen and pantry and treadmill day.
3.25 jog at 7.1mph and 1.75 walk at 3.7 on a 3.0 incline. This is the most I have done in weeks. My hand felt great, but it was definitely hot and swollen by the time I was done.

Sweetest hubs ever!

A picture is worth a thousand words... He really is the best!
Sunday afternoon nap
Followed by the closing ceremonies, froyo & kitty snuggles
I'm going to try a 1 mile jog/2 mile walk tomorrow!

No good, very bad

The youngest accidentally went into the women's restroom to tinkle. Oops.
And somehow this happened at work...
No good!!
While waiting to apply for passports we had a little snack
And this for lunch
One bonus to only being able to walk on the treadmill

No run Riss run :(

I saw my doctor Friday to change my cast to a more 90 degree angle rather than 135. He once again strongly suggested not running, so it looks like I'll continue the walking.

I did a lot of this this weekend
No complaints here.

And the hubs has been going my hair
Not shabby at all.

Apparently I'm going to have to get back on the nutrition bandwagon because I'm definitely not burning off these calories... Stay tuned on that front.

No humble bragging

I I got a cool purple cast & my X-rays are looking good!
My work rocks
My students have been super sweet & on task! Bonus 👍

And the crazy cat has taken it upon herself to make sure I'm healing

I jogged/walked 13.1 miles today.
During my last mile, I thanked Jesus that I even get the opportunity to run. It was the slowest race I will ever have; however, I'm super proud I finished it 👍 No humble bragging here, just regular bragging 😉

I was instructed not to eat 8 hours prior to surgery so I ate an extremely filling dinner the night before of chicken pot pie and a huge bowl of froyo

Surgery was scheduled for 11:30 the following morning
Maddie girl wrote me a card with a Proverbs verse: Lean not on your own understanding but trust in the Lord. Man, that girl knows her way into Mams's heart.
I woke up about an hour later with these cool new accessories
And Dori has personally taken it upon herself to make sure that I'm feeling better
